What’s New at Digital Giants
26th May 2015
Have you been wondering what is going on with the Giants lately? Our team is growing and changing. Alyssa Hannan is stepping into a new role as Client Success Manager and we’re welcoming Courtney Duthie to our team as a Client Success Coordinator.
For more insight on the new organizational changes happening, Alyssa and Courtney have interviewed each other on their new, exciting roles as Giants!
Alyssa: Welcome to the team, Courtney! Tell us a little about yourself.
Courtney: Before joining Digital Giants I attended Georgian College and was enrolled in their Co-op Marketing program and previous to that I attended Laurentian University at Georgian College majoring in Psychology. I have a strong educational background and am excited to use it as a Giant.
A: What are you most excited to take on in your new role at DG?
C: All the learning! I am looking forward to learning everything about digital marketing and how we can use it to maximize our clients web presence. In four short weeks Digital Giants has already taught me way more than I expected. I can’t wait to get my career started.
A: What will our clients love about working with you?
C: With my 8 years of customer service experience I am confident in my communication skills and know they will feel comfortable working with me. I always put my best efforts into my work and will try everything I can to provide excellent work for our clients. I am capable of making fast decisions and can solve problems quickly when needed.
A: What are your interests outside of work?
C: During my free time I love hanging out with my friends — doesn’t matter what we are doing as long as we are having fun. You can also find me with my dog, Lily. When I can, I will jump on any opportunity to travel. I recently travelled to Europe and saw eight countries in one month.
A: What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned so far in your career?
C: The most surprising thing I have learned so far in my career are all the different programs that are involved in creating a successful digital marketing program. You have to consistently keep up with technology changes which may change your entire execution.
The good news is… I love learning so the adventure will be fun!
Courtney: Describe your new role as Manager of Client Success.
Alyssa: As the Manager of Client Success, I still get to build great relationships with our clients and coordinate the tactics that make our proven process so successful, but I also get to play a larger part in strategy. In my new role, I’ll be taking on a greater leadership position as part of the Client Success Team providing guidance, direction and training to coordinators and clients.
C: What excites you most about your new position?
A: The new opportunities that await me to grow, learn and contribute to the DG team and to our clients!
C: What will you bring forward from Client Success Coordinator to Manager of Client Success?
A: I’ve learned so much from my role as a Client Success Coordinator, but time management, communication, and strategic thinking are three of the most important strengths I’ll be bringing with me in my new position.
C: What is the best part of being a Giant?
A: Coming to work and loving what I do every day is by far the best part of being a Giant. The rewarding feeling I get when we develop and execute an awesome strategy for a client and begin to see results is unlike anything else! I also love learning about our clients, their businesses and helping them master the world of digital marketing. Working with an amazing team of people isn’t so bad, either 😉
